Avon Protection PLC

Avon Protection designs and manufactures life-critical personal protection solutions for the world’s militaries and first responders. It provides respiratory protection in the form of respirators, powered, and supplied air systems, filters, spares and accessories.
In November 2020, Avon Rubber plc completed the $130 million acquisition of US helmet maker Team Wendy. The acquisition of Team Wendy is another important strategic step in the transformation of Avon Rubber into a provider of life-critical personal protection systems. The company earned $248.3 million in revenue in 2021.

Bruker

Bruker corporation develops, manufactures and distributes high-performance scientific instruments and analytical and diagnostic solutions that enable customers to explore life and materials at microscopic, molecular and cellular levels.

The company develops, manufactures and distributes a range of field analytical systems for CBRNE detection. In 2021 they achieved revenues of $2.4 billion.

Bertin Technologies

Bertin Technologies is a French industrialist in scientific instrumentation that designs and manufactures measurement, observation & detection systems and instruments for critical applications. Every day, Bertin Technologies pursues technological advancements. In 2021, they made revenues of $95.8 million.

Battelle

Battelle is an independent non-profit applied science and technology organization. It supports a diverse spectrum of clients, from small start-up companies to multinational corporations and government agencies. Battelle serves the national security, health and life sciences, and energy and environmental industries.

The company operates its business under four reportable segments: national security, health and life sciences, energy, and environmental industries, and has around 40,000 employees.

Dräger

Dräger manufactures medical and safety technology products to support hospitals, fire departments, emergency services, authorities, and the mining industry. Dräger has more than 15,000 employees worldwide and is present in over 190 countries around the globe. In 2021, the company earned revenues of £3.4 billion.

Karcher Futuretech

Kärcher Futuretech develops and manufactures mobile systems in the field of CBRN Decontamination, Water Supply, Mobile Catering and Field Camp Systems for military and civil defense operations.

Futuretech products facilitate prompt and effective decontamination of people, tanks and other vehicles, air and watercraft, personal weapons, clothing and equipment and sensitive material. They made $41.7 million in revenues in 2021.

Kromek

Kromek Group PLC is an international technology group based in the UK. The company is a developer and supplier of high-performance radiation detection products based on cadmium zinc telluride (CZT). Using its technology platforms, Kromek designs and develops and produces x-ray and gamma-ray imaging and radiation detection products for the medical, CBRNE security, homeland security and civil nuclear radiation detection markets.

In 2021, they earned $12.5 million in revenue.

Smiths

Smiths Group Plc develops, manufactures and sells instruments and control systems for use in industrial settings. Engineered bearings, mechanical seals, seal support, power transmission couplings and filtration systems are all manufactured by their John Crane division.

The Smiths Detection’s global presence, combined with strong relationships with distributors and representatives, provides customers with sales and service support around the world. The company has manufacturing facilities established in France, Germany, Malaysia, the UK and the US, with some of which also serve as R&D centers of excellence. Smiths made revenues of $2.7 billion in 2021.

Thermo Fisher Scientific

In the security arena, Thermo Fisher produces radiation monitors for nuclear plants and first responders, and all sorts of detection equipment designed to identify chemicals, biohazards, radioactive materials, nuclear materials and explosives. Thermo Scientific offers customers a complete range of high-end analytical instruments as well as laboratory equipment, software, services, consumables and reagents to enable integrated laboratory workflow solutions. Fisher Scientific provides a complete portfolio of laboratory equipment, chemicals, supplies and services used in healthcare, scientific research, safety and education.

In 2021, they achieved revenues of $39.2 billion.
